Arindam Sarmah has 19 years of experience as an independent filmmaker, director, producer, cameraman, writer, editor, graphic designer and media trainer.  

 

Started off as an apprentice with world renowned wildlife filmmaker Mr. Mike Pandey and has worked in many award winning films. He has also edited famous environmental series “Earth Matters”. Apart from working with Mr. Mike Pandey, he has worked with various production houses such as Miditech and BIG Synergy and has edited famous children series “Gali Gali Sim Sim” - Indian version of Sesame Street. He has also edited a series of 26 films on Indian Sculptures “The Sculptures of India” for Doordarshan National Network. He has also produced two documentary films and has worked as a director, cameraman and editor for the same. He has also worked in new media industry and has edited mobile videos for a US based company Rhythm New Media. He is a Masters in English Literature.
